BETWEEN FRIENDS – PEOPLE MODEL
Corina Grigore founded the Animal Protection Association “Help Lăbuș” in 2004, but has been working in the field for over 20 years. At the beginning, in the period 2002-2008, Corina Grigore gave help to stray dogs that were gathered from the streets and were in the paddocks of Galati City Hall, but, following some disagreements with the local administration, since 2008, the Galati woman was access to the paddock is forbidden. For four years, when she no longer had access to animals in public paddocks, Corina Grigore decided to set up her own paddock in order to save the lives of stray animals. Now, Corina Grigore takes care of over 1,200 animals that she daily cares for, feeds, treats and tries to find welcoming families to adopt. Our reporter Maria Măndiță talked to her.
